Grain Storage
China has a shaped system of grain storage education and research. The state has invested in building advanced storage facilities, and most elevators have been equipped with power ventilation appliances, computer controlled temperature measuring systems and recycling fumigation devices. There
are currently 196,000 people engaged in grain storage nationwide. The Chinese government always places great importance on the grain storage of peasant households. It has appropriated earmarked capital for developing tools and preservatives adapting to specific stock requirements of farmers, and has sent professionals to rural areas to help farmers improve the storage capability and reduce losses.
